I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow and need some urgent help re cruise control.

I had the entire interior out to run wires for a stereo and alarm system.

Alarm works fine. Double din nav unit works awesome

Got a check engine light and no cruise control.

Ia it possible I left something unplugged? I notice my traction control button doesn't seem todo anything.

Oh, prior to pulling the interior cruise did work.

I'm leaving tomorrow on a long trip sop cruise would be nice.

So I figured it out.

I pulled codes, nothing. I consulted the manual and found the idiot light was "Ebrake" nt check engine.

Not wanting to pull the console, I grabbed a long drift, found the tang that depresses the switch to indicate brake on and "perswaded it with a couple hammer blows.

I'm proud to say i fixed my cruise control with a hammer.

Well I put on 600 miles today, a good portion using cruise control. I’m pretty sure I would have taken an alternative vehicle on this trip without cruise. I did have some issues getting the climate control to work. Time for another thread….
