Tips for turboing an existing engine?
Hey, I plan on turboing my engine down the road, this will be my first car I'm building and I was curious to what I need and should have to build it? It's automatic and I don't know yet and if I wanna convert it to manual. Please help me with tips!!

LilThugx, there are many resources here and several threads in the "SC300/400 > Build Threads" section to get examples and ideas from.
There are several ways to turbocharge an SC from building an NA-T from your 2JZ-GE to swapping in one of several versions of the 2JZ-GTE and 1JZ-GTE. All of them do require planning and many supporting modifications but the SC platform is engineered for it.
If you do wish to stay with an automatic you will have plenty of options as JDM donor 2JZ-GTE's and 1JZ-GTE's predominantly came with automatic transmissions which are often sold with those donor engines. Just make sure that the engine harness, correct ECU and various small electronics are intact from the engine importer so that the re-wiring and installation can go smoothly.
A manual SC is definitely fun and while there is some more to convert if you are not starting with a factory 5-speed manual chassis you have several transmission options to choose from.
You're at the beginning now and my best suggestion to you is to read up on previous build threads for ideas to figure out which style and setup appeals to you most and then technical threads regarding the ins and outs of swaps and NA-T's.

It's become a fairly cheap platform to turbo. It's nowhere near $10,000 to do reliably anymore. Good ol' eBay has a ton of parts we can use on a budget that don't impact reliability at all.
Manuals are silly fun.
Auto's will ultimately be faster when you go beyond BPU power levels when turbo.
