Front side car damaged - thoughts on estimate to fix
Just want to say first off that everyone is okay, my wife actually backed into my 2016 IS 200T F Sport last night on the driveway by mistake when going out for an errand in the rain. I am attaching pics of the damage but just wanted people's thought on estimated what it might cost to fix. Should I take it to a Lexus dealership? Anyone know any good body shops in the West Palm Beach, FL area.

Anywhere from 500-1500 depending on where you go. A PDR guy might be able to pull the fender out. Might charge you $300-500. then just touch up the bumper.

My car is a leased car. Anyone think if I go from a Lexus leased car to another Lexus leased car that I won't have to pay for the damage.
I am most likely going to get it fixed now because I don't like driving in a damaged car but didn't know my options.

I dont think lexus will forgive that. get a quote from a pdr guy. if he can't do it then you need to get it fixed by a body shop

That sounds about right! I had similar damage done to mine while parked at the doctor's office and it was approx. $1,200 to fix it. Bumper had to be repainted. Fender was ok, but had a scratch I'd start with a PDR guy to see if he's able to pull the fender out and then have the bumper painted. Good luck!

Lexus dealership is easily going to charge you $1500-2500. Thats not including a new bumper. That's for repainting front bumper, popping the fender back out, repairing the area outside and inside the wheel well and fender. Hopefully you didn't break any tabs or liners. There's a guy who got his ISF front bumper re sprayed in Boca. If you want I can search for the body shop name. The work looked top notch. The best thing to do, is take it to Lexus. Get a quote, it should be free. Keep in mind that the quote is not set and done until a tech actually starts taking everything apart. Prepare to spend more.

Wow! I didn't realize the replies! My phone loaded very slowly. If it's a lease stay AWAY from the dealership! Once they have it on file, not only will your value take a hit but more than likely they will charge the full amount I quoted above to repair. Dealerships, won't forgive a single scratch on their lease. They will charge you to the fullest to get it repaired and make a profit on top. Start with a painless repair quote Andre work from there.

If you don't get it fixed, I expect you will definitely get charged for it when you turn it in. I got charged for being over miles on my 250 leased car when I turned it in and it was spotless. The dealer did not actually have control over the turn in fees. Lexus Financial Services sent a third party consultant to do the inspection. I did not get charged for any wear items or damage, but I did pay $500 for being 2K miles over the allowance. I am not worried on the IS350 because, even though it's a lease, I do plan to buy the car at the end of the lease.

Should I go through my insurance to get this fixed. I have never gotten in an accident and my deductible for this type of fix would be $250. This would be a lot lower than probably what the fix would cost. Also I would need a rental car for the time the car is in the body shop and this is 80% covered by insurance.
