Im trying to use the signal for the puddle light to turn on other LED-related items, but im having trouble locating which wire in the side mirror harness corresponds to the puddle light.

Im not sure whether theres a difference between JDM and USDM 3GS's (im located in japan btw), but the harness from the side mirror goes to a separate ECU-looking device located on the door itself, with the connector being 16pin (with only 12 of the pins having wires).

Of course theres the option to trace the wire from the puddle light to back through the door, but i rather not disassemble the side mirror if i dont have to...

A wiring diagram for the side mirror would be great, but if anyone knows which wires are what, that would be helpful as well.
