Arrgh! My Lexus Support Consultant gave me wrong part number over the phone, I came to know after I ordered 64302-24020, which is actually Package Tray Limiter Switch No. 2 (Bracket Sub-Assy, PA).
It's called "Package Tray Trim Link Left Hand Motor Assembly 85730-24030: Motor Assembly, Slide RO". TLS Auto does not have it & the lowest price I've seen online is around $270.

isn't it 1 motor only for both left and right side?

I called over 20 local, reputable auto mechanic/ body shops in Raleigh, NC area. Since many did not have the fancy Lexus diagnostic tools, I told them about the Lexus dealership's diagnostics & the faulty Part number that needs to be replaced but still no one is willing to do it.
I'm kind of disappointed & a bit frustrated that nobody is even willing to give it a try.

bimmer, I had the same question but I suspect that it is related to where it is located and that there are mechanisms on both sides, one of which the motor is tied to.
hitsofmiss, be glad that several mechanics "no-bid" this work. You really don't want someone with no experience working on your roof mechanisms. You might try the Toyota dealer though, they'll still be cheaper than the Lexus dealer.
You'd need an independent Lexus mechanic to work on it otherwise. (We are fortunate here in the DFW area, as there are a couple or more shops that were opened by former Lexus mechanics that do really good work for less than the dealer.)

You bet. Hopefully, you won't have to deal with a roof failure.
