Default roof rack

I have a 2007 sc430. Is there an aftermarket roof rack which will fit this car to carry my kyak?

Most knacks are bigger than your sc430. Would look comical going down the road, LOL.

You could remove the floor panels and the front windshield don a pair of old goggles to save your eyes from the wind then stuff the kayak in and out the front. There was a recent thread on removing stuff to make our cars lighter and faster OMG

I think adding any extra weight to the roof is a bad idea. It could possibly damage the gears and motors that operate the top, or even add additional stress to the arms that track the top. Sorry to say, but I also feel that it is a bad idea to put a kayak on the top. Maybe you could do a custom Class I trailer hitch. I've seen some owner do them for bicycles with the SC430, even hideaway hitches behind the license plate.

I agree with Shawn. Don't risk damaging the roof or its mechanisms. Add the light weight hitch and get a very lightweight trailer. Yes, pulling a trailer is more of a pain than carrying something on the roof but I think that you'd regret what weight would to do your roof.
