SC430 Roof Rack

SC430 Roof Rack
Another thing I thought about yesterday and it might seem dumb, but has anyone seen an SC430 roof rack? My SC430 is my daily, and I'd love to roll around a ski town with it. It would have to be specifically something lightweight that would allow either skis or snowboards without gear which would go in trunk. I figure it would have to be something that would strap across the inside of cabin and windows would have to be left open slightly. Of course, it would make the roof inoperable. Wondering what you all think? I've seen Lambos with carrier shells and racks, so why not the SC430? Thoughts?

Why not a luggage rack on the trunk lid that way the roof would still be operable? You could then make several type of attachments to fit skis or snowboards to it. I custom made luggage racks for the 1986 Corvette Roadsters when the came back out in 1986 and chevy did not offer a luggage rack option.

When I was young, my dad and I built a roof rack for my 71 Corolla station wagon that used large suction cups (4 or 5" in diameter?) and then used straps that hooked on to the roof edge. Like VVTiBob, I don't think that I'd want to do that to my SC though. The rack did work well though.

I remember seeing roof racks using those big suction cups with straps going to the drip rail.

If anyone has any links to any idea it sure would be great to see some options. I'd prefer not to have it on the trunk as this would mean mounting the snowboard "across the grain" of travel and probably lead to more drag (ie. wind shear) that would lead to damage due to bad aerodynamics. I think if the roof is closed and latched it should be able to handle the wind shear as this car has to pass enough inspection to survive a roll over type crash. Anyone got any ideas, or better yet links or pictures?
ps I'm thinking more for low to medium speed travelling and local commute. .. max 60mph.

I don't see a logo on the rack. I see a logo on the surf board cover?

Can’t read the logo, but the cars is not a North American model. Front fender has an illuminated side marker light, rear side reflector is amber both indicate European version Lexus.
