SC 430 max speed limiter defeat ?

Even though Tom's might need a new translator, I would surely agree that nothing is more "without stress" than a few laps around the track going faster than 180 k/hr.
Gotta have it.
But please, members, remember the specifications, and I think this applies to much of the information on the internet, oblige us to "keep absolutely quiet" about this.
Mums the word.

Found this too. HKS Speed Limit Defencer SLD Type2 for the UZZ40 chassis with the 3UZ-FE engine. I've used a HKS delimiter in the past on my Twin Turbo JZS147 GS300 (aristo) before and it worked fine. I think I'll order this one soon.
Part number for the De-Limiter is 4502-RA003

Did you ever try the HKS SLD type Ii? After the Supra TT swap my max speed dropped to 118 mph. I installed the HKS and it worked and on the dyno we drove up to 147mph but the SLD triggers a cel/vcs/vsc off light set with error code P0980 which relates to the shift solonoid C high. There is a set of dip switches on the controller and I'm trying to get more information but I have the setup per the manual. Perhaps there's a difference the the USADM vd JDM which a different dip setting would fix.
Any thoughts?

I fitted something a long while ago and she tops out around 170 mph now. I'll dig out what it was, Definitely HKS, but which one I cannot remember.
EDIT. Is it an Aristo or Supra JDM set up, then you'll need the 16 wire HKS delimiter, it limits the speedo to 110 mph but the revs climb and climb and climb. I did 174 mph in my old Aristo with this kit fitted, with more to come if I had another few miles of straight autobahn.

HKS SLD Type II
Another note:
I have been driving wit the cable for solonoid A disconnected and noticed a huge decrease in gas mileage whiched dropped from 22 mpg to 13 mpg! I totally removed the device and the highway mileage went back up to 22 mph. Note I have the Supra TT differential with LSD and 3.77 gesr ratio which drops the mileage a bit, I was better than 22 on the highway beforenthe swap.

The only thing that ever happened me was the ABS used to go error at 112 mph, and stayed in error until I came back down through to 112 mph. No MPG problems, no 147 MPH problems, she basically pushed up to aerodynamic max at about 174 mph on the satnav, but it took an uninterrupted 20 mile push to get there... 155 was the effective working top speed. No MPG differences either, I was always getting bang on 15 MPG in UK Gallons. By the way US Gallons are smaller.
