New SC430 owner - rear speakers have no bass

I had the same issue with the sub where you can hear this faint distortion. Based on a DIY I just had to just re-foam it, not bad DIY and I have heard good results, mine was another success story.
Key is to understand if the speaker is toast or just the foam. On my micro-tweeters and tweeters, I just had to re-seal using the RTV. The mid-range however, I went to Polk Audio and had to create a new mount (cost was far less than ML, but sound is good). All good now.
I must comment that the ML 6”x9” are designed and tuned in for our cars. If there were not exorbitant in price I would have bought them. Any other 6x9’s will not be tuned in.

Just a quick update, I turned the volume and bass up, and climbed in the backseat... And played some outkast, the sub does work and doesn't distort. In my opinion though, it's not particularly strong... It seems to have more of a "feel" of shaking my head than it does "sound" that I can hear. Oh well. The door subwoofers are much, much more important after all.
