Timing Belt at Dealer should I ask them to change Water Pump too?

The other idler pulleys, in addition to the tensioner. Cheap. And the other posters are correct - rarely does the belt break or jump as the primary reason (assuming your not trying to get 250K miles out of it!). It is almost always secondary to the bearings that make up the belt's pathway.

Ok thanks to all!
I had Inskip Lexus replace my timing belt, water pump and thermostat. Their quote was $1000.
I paid $865. total bill out the door.
Needless to say I am happy with the price and knowing the dealer did the work gives me piece of mind.
Thanks to all who helped me.

Fleabay KIT, all OEM is around $250ish, includes all.
I willl get a set and get my local mechanic to do it. Anticipate on spending $700 all together.

Perhaps you can scan and post?
Thanks.

One option is to ask a reliable Toyota dealer to do your timing belt. Our engine is shared with Tundra.
