Default After Market Gizmos?

I had to replace the stereo system on my 2003. I couldn't get the steering wheel controls to function with the radio despite trying electronic converters. Ended up having to get an aftermarket remote control for the stereo.

Any experience of a product that actually works with the OEM remote?

Also, looking for a key remote that will put the TOP up and down...anyone come across this?

It would also be nice to have a key remote that closes up the whole car as I walk away...like batman

I couldn't find any chip or aftermarket performance boost but would like to...any have experience with easy upgrades?

did you contact beatsonic? I thought that was a sure thing. Luxlink is no longer in production but I think Darnot has one for sale in the classifieds that is brand new.

The old beatsonic unit didn't allow steering wheel controls, but the newer mva-12l does. Perhaps you had the older one, or your car doesn't have oem navigation?

Beatsonic will work as long as he is still using his ML Amplifier. I have my Viper Alarm 5903 with lots of extras wired to walk away like Batman! Top up or Down. 3 Steps. 1). One touch operation top up, windows up, 2). one button to cut car off 3) one more time to set alarm.

Thank you for your help...everyone! Great forum!

FYI, Steve still has about 40 of the Luxlinks left and I did order one.

I had changed out my whole sound system including the amplifier so I still have not found a solution to the steering wheel remote issues. The best I was able to do was buy an aftermarket remote that attaches to the steering wheel and can control the new Pioneer. Looks terrible but works decent.

Thank you again for all your experience and knowledge.

Are there any simple performance upgrades available? Computer Chip?

Already got a K&N filter which didn't make a noticable difference.
