One slight addition to deathstar's instructions. I just have happen to have changed out my cabin air filter this morning.
On the inside of the glove box on each side there are two plastic screw devices. Twist each one by hand and then pull each black plastic device inward, either with your hands or maybe with pliers, but make sure you put some sort of cloth or paper towel peice between the pliers and the plastic if you want to protect them. And then as deathstars says the glove box will drop down and the rest is history.

Pole Position
I just did mine and as previously stated I turned the two plastic pins about a quarter turn. The time before last, I than pulled out the plastic pins which required some good tugging. This time after turning the two pins a quarter turn, I reached behind both sides of the glove box and gently pressed in and than lowered the glove box. It took less than four minutes to do the job.
