Replacing break pads in 04' SC430
I got quoted $720 at my local Lexus dealership to replace all 4 breaks. Quick Google look up yield average $60 per pair online pads pricing (making about $120-$160 for all 4). Has anyone did it? What pads brand you've used? Should I even try it? I am afraid of TPS (tire pressure sensor issues I keep reading). Any advices appreciated.

Plus I doubt the dealer is using bargin basement priced/quality pads.
Checkout the price of EBC Yellow, Red or Green pads for example.
TPS would only be a problem if you removed all four wheels & reinstalled them in different locations.
By asking the question I wouldn't think you are qualified to perform the job. Just because you have mechanical skills doesn't mean you know what you’re looking at.
Are the shims & springs in good shape? How about the caliper seals? Are you going flush & fill the brake fluid? Do you know how to properly bleed the brakes? You can have the rotors turned if they are within specs.
But hey, they come with a lifetime warranty........
Your LIFETIME.
