Brake Fluid

Only two things would contribute to this. 1) Wearing brakes pads which would allow more fluid to enter the braking system. 2) A leak somewhere in the system. A leak could be front any of the 4 wheels, engine bay portion the master cylinder, lines running under car (rare unless you hit something or a jack was used improperly), or in the drivers foot well area inside the car.
I would pop the wheels and check the pad conditions and while at it inspect for leaks.
Hope it helps

pads were replaced about a month ago, both me and my mate normally check everything, and no leaks or damage, we both cant understand why this is happening, no visible leaks on the braking system lee. Any other ideas? I was just going to give it to the dealer and get them to check it under the warranty of the car

it has to be leaking somewhere. brake fluid dont get consumed like engine oil. jack up your car and remove all four wheels. have someone step on the brake multiple times to build up pressure in the system while you look for leaks, all the brake lines from master cylinder to the rear brakes. the fact that you dont have to add more often than once every 4 weeks suggest the leak is very small and probably is not easy to detect. good luck.

gave it into the dealer an hour ago, he tried to fob me off by saying its low brake pads, i corrected him and told him they were replaced 2 months ago and only done 300 since.

I think in rare cases it can leak into the vacuum booster, then burned in combustion chambers. Most common tho is at the back of the master cylinder, check area where M cyl push rod passes thru floor, look at that rubber boot, feel the carpet area there.

I found the leak is from the brake piston. You have to take the cover bracket off (close to the barke master cylinder) and get the flash light to inspect the firewall where the barke master cylinder is bolted. There is a repair kit available:0449330330($59.41) +gasket 4478530040 ($3.28). They are available from Lexus of South Atlanta.
