Lexpro Help!!!
My sc 430 is in the shop because the radio keeps cutting out .I took my system out assuming it might be the problem at hand. However the problem was still occuring now the service department does not want to touch the vehicle since there was after market equipment installed .My question is this shouldnt they still warranty the factory i did not touch the factory deck i ran the amp directly from the rear sub and the dealership stated there nothing wrong with the rear sub. I work at a nissan , jaguar dealership and we would still warranty the system. Please help thank you................

Hm, this is a very touchy area with many dealerships.
I would take my complaint to the service manager and try my best there. Since you did use aftermarket stereo items, they will point to them as the problem no matter what it is... Just try to explain the problem is not coming from your aftermarket, but from OEM.
EDIT: Possibly have a Stereo shop see if it is a very simple error such as a short in wiring or something that can be rectified for cheap.. besides looking at it yourself or bringing it to the dealer.
Good Luck.

Thank you for your reply I went to the stereo store who installed the system and they stated the problem is from the deck . With the aftermarket system we did not touch the deck at all so lexus should warranty it but they are stating the will not!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can indeed mess up the deck with a bad amp connection, and the shop's installer could have just reversed it after the 'ooops'.
In case of litigation, It'd be very easy to tell who's at fault if the unit is inspected by a competent electronic technician. By your symptom and the timing of it, I bet 10 to 1 the shop did it.
I'm afraid you're in a no win situation buddy; your best bet is to have the deck inspected by an independent shop and go after the responsible party with a written diagnosis.
Happy holidays.
