for sale is my rx300 wood wheel and GS300 airbag, also comes with the airbag adapter thats needed for the earlier SCs.


the gap is from me not placing the adapter in the right position so the bag sat wierdly.

im looking for $400 shipped.

I'm pretty sure that gap is there because you're using the wrong airbag cover. The newer 3-spokes have a different designed airbag.

Notice the design on the cover and it is slightly larger.

probably. but the 01 gs/rx air bags are rare to find at a cheap price. but i know that gap was caused by the adapter.

Correct, he has the 98-99 GS airbag on a newer wheel. The adapter may push it out some, but the angles where the bag meets wheel are off.

I am not meaning to rain on your parade, but I am almost 100% sure you have the wrong style airbag for that wheel. There were (2) three spoke airbags and wheels, and they do not interchange. The fitment should be flush. I also have never heard of the adaptor you are discussing. Please post up pics of this.

yea one bag for the wood grain wheels with the chrome ring around the emblem and the regular 3 spoke bags for the non wood. you can guess which one i have and it does interchange as it fits on mine, but like i said i just didnt position the adapter correctly so its making the airbag bulge.

i picked up the connector from the SC classifieds so u can search that up. its for pre 97 (iirc, correct me if im wrong) lexus airbag systems to use on the newer 98-01 bags.
