O2 sensor problems
I have a o3 sc430 that's driving me crazy I have replaced the 02 sensor on my car three times and the cars vsc and check engine light comes back on after driving less then a mile
If I really step on the gas it'll come on faster
Where should I look for a vacuum leak?
The mechanic says it could be electrical problems too
Please help
Thanks in advance

Try to answer the questions, if you cannot that is okay. We will try to help you!
Why did you mention a vacuum leak?
Why did your mechanic mention an electrical problem?
You may want to consider firing Boudreaux If he is checking out your car saying these things! JK bro
What codes are you getting?
How often have you had to replace the O2 sensors?
What brand are they?
How many miles?
Are you running additives to the fuel system?
Does the car idle smooth or rough?
Is you SC stock or modded? If modded, please explain.
Do you you have a code checker, if not get one.
That should be enough information to start with...
BTW, I am from Houma. How about you? Cheers!

Boudreaux (lmao) didn't say anything about a vacuum leak, he said I may have an electrical problem .
My car is not modded
Does not idle rough
I use no additives
Gas mileage sucks a lil
And this is the third sensor I've tried
And the same thing happens drive a couple of miles to the bayou and the check engine light comes on along with the vsc light

When I asked about fuel mileage, is it somewhere between 18-22MPG? Or has the MPG recently gone down quickly?
How many miles are on your SC?
There are four O2 sensors on these cars, two on the drivers side (Bank1) and two on the passenger side (Bank2).
Are you replacing the same sensor each time?
If it is the same sensor, how long does it take to go bad again?
What brand is the sensor?
There are good and bad brands and sometimes good brands fail early.

These pins will reset the VSC Off light.
This may be a little in depth, but here is the procedure for P0133
An advanced code checker is required for some of this...I paid about $90 for mine.

I know it's weird but I love reading trouble shooting procedures even for things I'm not working on or need help with. It's always amazing to see how much effort goes into creating things we use every day.

Just change your O2 sensors? Sounds like they are originals? If you DIY it is fairly easy and cheap. I just did this and you can feel free to PM if you need help or detailed instructions..

I agree Lex, just change the two O2 drivers side sensors. That should clear the faults.
You said you changed O2 sensors before, but never said which one or different O2 sensors.
Denso makes a good sensor but I am sure there plenty of good brands out there.
I would guess to say your electrical system is fine...

I changed the pair of post cat O2 sensors. I was getting various codes after my header install. Once I put in the new sensors the codes went away. I also put in some O2 spacers, which may have been enough to resolve the issue, but since the sensors were original I figured was good to just change out anyway. I used Bosch sensors which were very high quality and not that expensive.

the last sensor didnt even last out of the service area
the light came on a mile in a half after install i went back to have the codes cleared and the same thing happened
