2002 Lexus SC 430 Getting codes P1351 po302 and c1201
2002 Lexus SC 430 Getting codes P1351 po302 and c1201.
The engine is running shaky. If you just hold your hand on the steering wheel you can feel the engine shaking.
The car has brand new sparkplugs.
What could the problem be?

P1351 VVT Sensor Range/Performance Problem (Bank 2)
This sensor related to timing (VVT= 'variable valve timing').
The 302 code is for an engine misfire - these two are probably linked. This misfire is causing your engine to shake.
I'm wondering if everything got put back together (especially connectors to sensors that were disconnected)?
Toyota C1201 ABS Inlet Valve Coil LF Circuit Short To Ground???
Can be related to an 02 sensor problem or this:
C1201 trouble code is common on lexus when the brake pads wear out and the the caliper pistons extends to maximum. It will cause the brake fluid to drop and the brake fluid level sensor is activated. Once the bake fluid level sensor is activated for more then 4 seconds, It will set the code C1201 in the system. Check the brake fluid if it is at minimum. Even though the light may not be on but when you go up / down hill it will illuminate for more than 4 seconds and that is what trigger the trouble code. By adding a little fluid and resetting the code you can prove that this may or may not be the probem. However to fix the problem , check and replace the brake pads as neccessary. Only then top up the fluid level to the maximum level , reset the trouble code and that should get rid of the trouble code till next brake job.

Here they said p1351 is related to that vvt oil control valve, only its for a Lexus RX 300.:

Also on a 2002 LS 430 p1351 is vvt oil control valve:
The part costs around $100.

I'm not at all familiar with the OCV, but yes, I think there's an excellent chance that the problem lies there. Codes seem correct and that solenoid controls the variable timing on the passenger bank, which would explain the shaking. Pretty much the same engine on the LS430 so I'd pull the solenoid, clean any filters, and put the new part in. Keep us posted. I'm very interested in this.

Changed timing belt water pump and tensioner about 10,000 miles ago still had same codes.
Timing was off 1 tooth dealership told me possibly bad tensioner.
Did the job again but changed both timing tubes part number 13050-50011, new belt and new tensioner. Took mechanic around 11 hours. Had to pull valve covers. While there changed both cam seals and valve cover gaskets.
Cleared codes and they never came back. Passed emmissions today.

Am I missing something here?
05/02/14 was OP's date of last post.
Then it was edited yesterday, 02/17/16.
Weird.
