Or maybe your key fob battery is too weak - I had a similar loose connection battery situation not long ago - not as complex as yours. But once my alarm was going, I just had to lock unlock using the key fob and it all settled down. Changing the key fob battery is an easy 5 minute job as long as you have a small screw driver. Maybe try that first so you can rule out a weak key fob battery. You're going to need a fully functional key fob anyway.
