I have a 2000 rx 300 and after about five minuts the alarm goes off. I called the dealer about this and he said hes never heard of such a problem. I told him that the battery was 3 yrs old and needed a recent charge and also my head lights pulsate at night and every time I turn the car off the colock goes bact to 1 and I have to reset it. Anyone, any ideas?????

 

Clock reset to zero as you start is clear indicator of bad battery or bad terminals.

Start by replacing the battery and have the charging system check up [the shop that sells you the battery should do that for free].

Once the battery is good, your problems might go away.
