Twilight Amethyst Pearl resale?

Less demand equals lower resale. Black, white and silver tend to hold their value better than less popular colors. That said, all you need is one buyer willing to meet your price.

OBP says: ". . . and everyone I know just loves the color when they see it."
What he means to say, of course, is "everyone I know says to me they love the color when they see it."

Here's my opinion. It's worth what you paid for it.
I think TAP is a beautiful color. every time i see one on the road i want to follow it to admire it but saying that I don't think I'd own one.
The unique color limits the buyer pool so it may be more difficult to sell BUT a buyer looking for a TAP SC430 would probably pay more for it because it's so hard to find.
My wife and i were just discussing colors the other day. I never thought I'd own a red car but for some reason Matador Red on a SC430 makes it look great. The same color on an ES turns me off. TAP on anything other than an SC would turn me off. Put it on an SC and it's beautiful.

Yeah, no one wants anything but Black, White or Silver anyway...

Said no one ever.
Besides, are you buying an SC430 as an investment, or because it is seriously a wonderful car?

No doubt TAP will attract a smaller population of interested buyers, some of which will try to low ball the price due to the color, but to me it's a unique and great color. It seems like 90% of all cars on the road are somewhere within the spectrum of black to white, with silver, grey, dark grey, metallic grey-black-white, white crystal gold, etc, all somewhere in between the black and white bandwidth. However, like Flyct, I never thought I would ever own a red car, until I found a car I really liked many years ago that was red, which took me three or four visits to finally pull the trigger on, color being the reason for hesitation. Now that I’ve owned a red car (dark shade of red) for many years, I fully understand why Ferrari’s are red, it’s an absolutely great color for a sports car. On that note, I think some of the best colors on sports cars are not the popular colors. For example, I think yellow, red, dark orange, bright shades of blue or green, etc., look great on high end sports cars when they are cruising through the hills or on coast, and especially in photos. There is a reason that most Indy, grand prix and NASCAR cars are painted with bright and vivid colors, because they are unique and look great against the racing track backdrop, in addition to being highly visible.

This comment caught my eye: ". . . It seems like 90% of all cars on the road are somewhere within the spectrum of black to white. . ."
Don't all colors fall within the spectrum between black and white?
Certainly, if there is a color darker than balck, I'd like to know about it.

Also, when I said a smaller population size would like TAP, that means it would more than likely command a lesser price, even though I positively commented on the color due to my own personal taste.
