Grom alternative
Hi,
After going around and around - it seems that the Grom is not compatible with my SC430 2005.
Are there any alternatives that do pretty much the same thing.
Thanks.

This thread sheds light on an alternative, Vais - MultiMediaLinQ High-End Digital Audio Interface Adapter:

iPod, iPhone and USB works well this this adapter. I'm currently using a 32 GB memory stick that can hold over 50 cd's, depending on length. The file size is limited to 99 or 100 MP3's per file, can't remember the exact number, but probably 99, since 100 adds another digit.

Hmmm - the VaisTech is considerably more expensive if I want Android intergration and not even sure it will work on my year Lexus - 2005. Any other options? Thanks.

Try searching for:
GTA Car Kit for Lexus SC 2005-2010
Should work for you. I could not use this because I had a 2004.

The basic Vaistech SL2U is $150. i took to to my local Best Buy store and they installed it for $50. It gives you Aux audio in if you want to plug ANY audio source into it.
If you want to go wireless, For about another $50 I put together a Bluetooth add on myself using a Blackberry Bluetooth Gateway. IT WORKS GREAT!
