Does ML Amp Fan Always Run?
I am wondering if the ML amplifier amp fan always runs or only when it is needed. Now the that the weather is warmer I am starting to hear what I think is the ML amp fan from behind the rear sears run. I am not sure if this amp is always running or only when the system is on and when it's hot.
I typically use the cassette tape for audio input and even when I am not listening to anything I still let the "tape" spin... this probably keeps the ML amp turned on needlessly... now I am thinking this is probably a bad idea, it's probably best to turn off the entire system when I am not actively listening to anything. The only thing is I typically keep the audio system cover closed to hide the embarrassing tape deck from view and use the steering wheel controls for everything... but I don't know of a way to turn the audio system off from the steering wheel controls (without opening up the cover).
Just sharing some thoughts...
