WHat is my car worth
Hello everyone. I am looking to sell my 2004 sc430 with 57k miles on it. i was woundering if anyone knew how much i would get for it in a private sale.or if someone has access to the latest auction prices. i did a few mods including rear window , mufller, lowering springs , new upper arms , ball joints and much more. plus i just got a full tranny flush , rear diff oil changed and engine oil all mobile 1.

I would guess somewhere between $23,000 - $25,000. I wouldn't expect to get anything back on your mods. You may even find that it's easier to sell if you revert back to stock.

Saw your listing in ebay & craigslist. Its sad to know you selling it... Anyway, its not a good time to sell the car now as weather is cold and we just saw snow.......
Anyway, I believe putting it back to stock will likely easier to sell. Not everyone likes black wheel. Keep the led fog light...it looks good on it.

Based on nation wide pricing on autotrader - between $22-25K. Back to stock will get you the most cash from a sale. Then sell the mod parts on Craigslist or on forum classified. I agree with previous post that a lot of people (especially the demographic that may buy an SC430) will not like the black wheels.

thank you all for your input . i will put the wheels back to stock color. and get ride of the painted side markers. i really dont want to sell but i just had a baby girl and can't affod 2 cars.

Congrats on the baby, did you list the car on here? CL is the only place where you might get more $ for mods. I would also recommend if you can to hold out to sell during the spring/summer and if selling outside CL the wheels and side markers should be stock enough. I bought my 04 with 8k miles in 2010 for around 30k, so around 22-24 would be my guess.

It's a great looking ride... with the exception of the blacked out rims. They may have a specific market, but unfortunately, to most buyers they will appear very much out of place and devalue the car.
