Default Where to get a spare wheel?

Hi all - A very good friend of mine recently picked up his 2007 SC430 and he is looking for a spare wheel. Due to the runflat tires that he has on the car, the car does not have a spare wheel. Where can he get the spare (donut) wheel? The trunk has a slot for a spare but I don't think a full size wheel can fit in. He is just trying to avoid going to the dealer and would like to know if there is somewhere else that he can buy or someone in here would have one to sell.

Please let me know. Your advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the great info on this topic. After discussion with my friend, he decided not to pursue the spare wheel for such a price. Worst comes worst is getting a new tire if something happens. Also it would leave extra space in the trunk.

You guys are great as always. Thanks again for the info.

One alternative which has also been discussed, is the tire repair/re-inflation kit, rather carrying a spare.

What a number of us have done is to get either Supra TT spares or other compatibles (mentioned in some of the earlier threads on this forum) from someone that wanted to get rid of them. (I got mine for about $50.)

You can find them on ebay, Craig's List or by joining other forums and posting on the Wanted forums or searching their For Sale forums.
