I flashed the high beam today and later found out my DRL lights are no longer lit when driving.

Anyone knows why? I tried high beam flash in my garage and the xenons flashed but not the DRL lights. Is that right? I thought the DRL lights are for high beam when turned on for that.

You DRL/high beam bulbs might have burned out. DRL lights should always be on.

Darn. I just put in the new PIAA DRL lights a few months ago. They were on this morning when driving to work.

I suspect it has to do with flashing the high beam. could it be the fuse?

I checked in my garage with the parking brake off. The DRLs are Still off.

Weird thing is they were on this morning. All I can remember was I flashed the high beam today. I will see if they come back on tomorrow.

Remember DRLs are the high beams but at reduced power as regulated by the ECM.

Yes, Bob. The DRLs are high beam at half the power, I think.

Today the lights are still out. I probably need to check the bulbs. Nothing else seems to be wrong.
