Front Plate Bracket
Since I first asked this question perhaps something has become available.
I can't expect to drive for very long without mounting my front plate - has anyone come across a decent-looking bracket that fits the car?

Front Plate
I've been driving without a front plate in Texas since 1987 (when I got my first "sports car", an RX-7). I've been stopped on a few occasions for other infractions and have never had any problems with the lack of front plate.
If you’re really paranoid, keep your front plate in the trunk loosely attached to a “broken” bracket. "Gee officer, I was just on the way to the dealer to get a new bracket."

Well, I live in a community of four cities/towns/villages totaling slightly over 100,000 people, so getting nabbed by the same cop more than once is likely.
After the first time I'm stopped, I will definitely have to mount the front plate, so I want to be prepared.

After getting stopped the second time in a month in my red SC430, I was given a warning for no front plate. I told the cop the car was brand new and the dealer left the bracket in the trunk. He let me off on a warning for the plate but gave me the ticket for going 15 over.
