Default disconnect hand brake?

i've been looking everywhere for this, can i disconnect the handbrake without cutting the wire or something like that? i cut it off the car i got the part from but obviously don't wanna cut it on my car, so need to find a place where it disconnects or something. looked in the repair manual, couldn't find it, searched everywhere couldn't find it. i just need to disconnect the cable to put a new knuckle on my car and then reconnect it, any ideas?

There are two bolts on the back of the knuckle and you have to get then rotor off and disconnect it from the shoes. On the other side of the cable, it connects to the front brake cable under the exhaust. Hopefully you can get the old cable off the knuckle, the small bolts and the materials the cable mount are made from make them prone to rust stuck and the bolt breaks. You should of just disconnect the cable from the parts car from the center cable, its a lot easier. Just trace the cable back.
