my grampa had a old Tornado with one of those selectable horns it played like 20 different melodies, it was loud!! I went to find one and they were not even close to the volume. It must have been 12 little horns lined up rockin la cucracha and such. That dude had taste! he was like a less obnoxious Rodney Dangerfield.

Sold! Did you add a relay or upgrade the fuse/wiring? I don't know how close we are to max capacity on that circuit, or what all is shared with the horns, for that matter. Horns tend to be on a shared circuit with brake lights, and you'd hate to have one fail because the other blew the fuse, since both are likely to be needed at the same time.

My uncle had one too. That car was a beast. I remember wondering where the tranny tunnel was.
Grandpa must have been quite a character!

Gotcha. I'd rather stick to the stock wiring, so I'll most likely just do a straight high/low swap.
I actually have air horns in the other car and am likely getting two sets of Sharptones in case I like them enough on the SC to replace the air horns with them. It appears the volume will be similar and electric is more reliable and easier to install, with no compressor and its extra power draw to account for. I found someone who will sell two sets of Sharptones for under $50. It's a no-brainer to have the second set as a spare, if nothing else.
