Who has had issues with their idler pulley?
Mine is screaming like a bastard. Put some belt conditioner on the belt, stop screaming at idle, now it'll do it 2k rpms and up. Common small stupid problem with these cars?

Self Tensioner not as common to have problems? Idler pulley definitely getting replaced first. Cheapest target first to narrow my problem. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this squealing issue and if it turned out to be more than just the idler pulley

Yeah. Replaced the idler last night and its still screaming. Picked up a self tensioner last night for 150 bucks. Getting installed today. Hopefully this 200 bucks fixes the issue. Im gonna be pretty upset if it was just the belt all along. (20 bucks compared to 200)

Always do a Search for Pulley bearings.
This should be a sticky!
NAPA sells the Idler Pulley Bearing and Tensioner Pulley Bearing.
The number is 6203RS and 6301RS.
Cost around $6 each.
Save your money for other items.

If your pulley has gone bad but you'd like to upgrade to a billet aluminum pulley,
PHR makes a billet one:

Unorthodox Racing was also making a billet idler pulley for a few years, but I'm not sure if it's still in production anymore.
