Exactly my point. You need to be more specific in your thread. Decide on a 5 or 6 speed first, then ask questions about it. W58? R154? What are your goals? What is your budget? What are your capabilities?

There are PLEMTY of threads that outline the pro's and con's of both, including a very recent and detailed 6spd 350Z thread in the first few pages of the Performance and Maintenance section. If you look around the forum even a little bit you will find more information than you could possibly care to know regarding swapping in any tranny compatible with SC's, including some tranny's that dont seem compatible (there is even a stickied thread specifically linking you to multiple threads that list - including part numbers - exactly what you need for the swap). Good luck!

With all the info on this site and all the other sites in existance, I cannot believe people are still trying to get spoon fed with information.

Go do some research and ask the questions if something wasn't already covered ten million times.

Good luck.

No worries, it is a mistake we all have made at a point.
Just check up on the search bar, and browse around. The info you seek may not all be in one place, but rather a few posts.

And when you start your swap, make sure to post a lot of pics....I'm sure most will agree, we all love that.

5 or 6 speed Is way over rated, I'm going for 7speed!! That way no one has remotely can come close to do one, and I'll be the first one to do this
