My 92 sc400 decided to get loopy and started to lock itself and it keeps doing it repeatedly.
This started this morning when i started it the car and let it warm up, went inside and i heard that the car turned off.
I went outside and it was off so I tried to start it again and it would start like if it wouldn't have spark the engine would just shake a lot.
So i gave a little throttle and started and it did but my locks where going crazy.
I disconnected the battery to reset the ecu and stuff, but it didn't work. now it does the wacky lock thing even without the key in the ignition.
My car idles high too. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

is the vehicle lowered with larger wheels. if so check the wiring on the drivers side above the tire in the fender area. sometimes it gets chewed through and weird stuff happens.

Ali SC3, my sc400 is on stock suspensions, It is sitting on 18x9, but there is no rubbing. I have checked the wiring in there too, just to be sure, and nothing.
Today I went and got the anti-theft ecu, going to try that.
The car stopped locking and opening, but now it wont open the locks with the switch from both passenger and drivers. The switches only lock the car right now, the car starts just fine.

My car died once from leaving my lights on and when I went to start it, the locks kept locking and unlocking rapidly but once we got the battery charged it stopped. Sometime when I leave my door open now it tries to unlock itself every couple seconds but I think that's a safety thing. Idk what the fix to your issue is but I just thought I'd share my experience with something similar lol. Maybe it's useful somehow
