Please help...Forced to MacGyver my SC400
So this weekend I started the tuneup process on my 98 SC400 1UZ-FE VVT-i. While taking off a hose on this intake air connector assembly, i found this mauled up plastic piece. I searched all weekend throughout the internet and cant find any information on what this part number is so that I can order a new one. All articles lead back to cold air intake mods, or BFI.
The only clue I can find is on the TIS diagram showing "Intake Air Connector Assembly". The only markings on the plastic is "Kojima Press"
Information I found on the internet point to PCV Positive Crankcase Ventilation.
As you can see I was forced to chop up a pen, which literally snapped in place nicely on the plastic box. Funny thing is that my check engine light is now off!
Can anyone direct me to a part number?
