Pulling my hair out
I have a 96 sc400 having hesitation bucking issues CEL for bank 1 cam sensor. Replaced both sides and still same code so check ecu found def leaking caps got a replacement and still getting same code. So what's the resistance on the cam sensors and harness connectors and where do the harness wires run to? Also do they run off fuses or relays because I have some fuses that will give power off or on and some fuses that don't give any power either way and they arent blown? I kno it's alot and I greatly appreciate any assistance on this I'm going crazy trying to trace this down

try rebuilding the ecu. driftmotion is the only people I know that does it for $60 plus shipping. that causes a lot of issues and can be this issue. easiest way to tell is to open up the computer and see if there is any capacitors that are leaking or any damage to the mother board.

Already replaced the ecu with a good rebuilt one and still get same codes thinking its something in the wiring harness but dont know where to look other than the connector

well since i have a 300 and not a 400 idk how to help. but i can say this, look for a pinout of the ecu, and a couple of wiring diagrams. look for the resistance between the wires from the ecu to the connector on the engine bay. should definitely be less than 2.0 ohms of resistance, wire does add a lot of resistance for length but not much more than that if its not a fusible link or a resistance wire.
