Gotta tear open my door to get it open...
Dang drivers-door lock mechanism froze-up and broke Monday leaving me unable to open the door from inside or out. I've had it in my heated garage for the week and it's apparently not helping so I have to destroy the door panel to get inside and get it open. It really, really sucks because it is in perfect, just like brand-new condition! So which of our vendors offers the best pricing for a new driver's side door panel?

This might be a long shot but did you try and call a Lock Jock type of service? They might be able to "Jimmy" the lock free or at least offer another idea.
I hope this helps,

If it truly is in perfect condition you would be the first person removing it, meaning it shouldn't really break if you do it carefully. Have someone help you hold it while you undo the screws that hold it in place and disconnect the wiring/door handle. If you don't want to do that ask Lexus how much and if they break something...they'll have to fix it no?

I did cut the back part of the panel Saturday and after 2 hours of maneuvering my hands and screw drivers down in the door I got it to release. The brand-new lock is on, the old one had snapped a pin in the bottom of the housing so the solace to destroying the door panel is that it truly was the only way to do it. New door panel has been ordered by my local dealer, she'll be back to new looking next week!
