Lexus may be toast
My 2000 SC300 may be toast. Some chick when through a red light, never even hit the brakes and T-boned my broadside.
It is UGLY I can tell you and this car was pristine. My task now is to stop the insurance company from declaring it a totalled car. I will lose thousands if that is the case.
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Just buy it back, or I would have had the car towed to my house, and after it's picked clean of aftermarket parts and put back to stock, then take it to the body shop for them to total it out.
If you need a lawyer, let me know I have a great lawyer that has mediated my claims with at-fault persons insurance. I came out on the better end with her handling my claim.

I am not understanding why you would loose thousands. The insurance company should take that all into consideration and give you enough to get the same car or better. Most 2000's are in pretty good condition. Don't accept anything less and they will have to work with you.

I have cnonsidered GAP insurance but have yet pulled the trigger on it yet. This thread has been a great reminder to check in to it. I have GEICO now, but I dont think they have this GAP insurance.
