I want my non-chrome TT's to look like that. What did you do to polish it like that? Same thing as the above video?
Here's what I have to work with..

No, I just bought a tube of Wenol, paper towels and went to town with it. I first tried using cotton terry rags, then mf towels, but neither worked as well as paper towels. Some sort of chemical reaction with the paper helped the Wenol work real well on the dull oxidized surface.

This is how the set looked when I picked the set up off a craigslist ad, they were pretty beat and required a couple days to really clean up. But for $250 for the whole set, I figured that it wouldn't be pristine.. lol

Yours are polished versions right? Not the painted silver? I can't really tell from your photo, but I'm assuming they're just oxidized polished TTs. If so, then yes, a tube of wenol and towels with LOTS of elbow grease will make it shine like mine.

Ah, then no, you'd have to strip the finish off before polishing it. Mine were already polished from the factory, just had a lot of oxidation and grime on the surface.

Alot of elbow grease has to be put into these, but the outcome is pure sex.

I would safely say, that the TT in chrome is one of the best looking 17inch chrome wheel out there on any SC.

Love mine! They are polished but I am going to try to sand them down a bit and high speed buff them.

I don't think polishing will give the full look of chrome.

Dougspeed's wheels are polished, but if you look closely his center caps are chrome. There is a slight difference between the wheel and the center cap.

My wheels are chrome TT. The center cap and wheel match. I guess it depends on how picky you are. Polishing will still produce a nice result.
