Pulled over by the police in the SC?

eknine9, that is one crappy encounter. Having read your story I also can't understand what constructive point he was trying to make since he only ticketed you. The area everyone was turning in should have been blocked off with cones if it were so dangerous. What goes around comes around even for jerks with too power for their egos.
The curb ticket took the cake though. I've had my share of parking tickets (street cleaning days) due to my rented house having only a tandem driveway. The later it got at night the less inclined any of my roommates and I were to move our cars up or reshuffle in the order each person had to go to work the next day. In L.A. it was a $68 hit every time.

That's dumb. I hear stupid loud car stereos everyday, enough to shake the glass in the windows of my home and that is legal. So why would loud exhaust be illegal in FL?

I've gotten followed around for a couple blocks a couple times, but because I know my car's attracts that kinda attention easily, I always drive like a grandma. The one time I got pulled over was because the cop wanted to notify me that my car was too low. I told him I'll raise it up and he let me go, but right when he passed my rear wheel on his way back to his squad car, he pointed to my 18s and asked "don't you want bigger wheels?"
yes, *sshole, i'm poor.
