After New Battery Install, Fuse for Gauges/Brakes/Tail Lights Keeps blowing
1995 SC300.....Stock
Replaced my battery on friday after it died on me. Replaced with a not-so-cheap- battery from O'rielly's. After install everything worked fine, no problems. I was on interstate the following night, went over a bump and the entire dash went dark and the car came out of overdrive. When I pressed braked the dash lit back up and the car shifted into over drive. As soon as I took my foot off brakes again, everything shut off. I realized once I made it home that the tail lights went out also. I got up the next morning and realized that the #14 Fuse (10amp) had blown. It was kinda weird that every time I would press the brake that the dash would light up again. I went to Autozone and got the replacement fuse and every time I tried to start the car the fuse would blow again. Im up to 10 blown fuses and have to literally engage the overide to get the car to go into gear. Has anybody else had this problem? where should the troubleshooting begin?
No aftermarket anything has been installed on the car...it is completely stock

Your ECU could be in need of a rebuild, I believe it is fairly common on these cars. There are a couple of threads that people describe similar issues and their solution was a replacement/rebuild of their ECU.
Could also be a short somewhere? Hopefully some more experienced members will chime in for you.
