CD magazine stuck in changer
Hi All ,
I had installed today a new pioneer 5200 NEX radio with navigation and apple play. The new unit has a one disc CD player and I had to disconnect my old 12 disc cartridge CD in the trunk. Unfortunately I did not take out my 12 disk magazine prior to the installation and now that it is disconnected with now power... I cannot take out my CD's. Does anyone know how to take out a 12 disc magazine with the power off ....so can get my CD's????

You can't without breaking your changer. You will need to plug your original headunit and changer back in temporarily. Alternatively, you could find a used SC on a car lot and "take it to be inspected by your mechanic" and plug your changer in and get your discs before you return the car. Lastly, you could sacrifice your changer and get your discs out.
Good luck!

Some changer mechanisms can be manually operated a bit. I've done it with Alpine and sony changers of that era, never tried the Lexus Pioneer.
Pull the changer out and remove the cover. Gently wiggle the larger gears and see if you can get anything to move. If so, it may take you a minute to move it enough get the current disc back into the magazine. Have patience and don't force anything.
