and the rollers I believe people are talking about are aluminum roller....
Right, but the resin would still stick to the aluminum and harden, wouldn't it? Can you just wipe it down after each use and keep build-up to a minimum, and the roller free to roll?

Before the resin hardens, flush the roller off with acetone. I used to fiberglass full time, we'd go through 5 gallon drums of acetone like crazy. Keeping something like a large coffee can full of the stuff so you could toss in your rollers and brushes right away kept them clean for another use. Believe me, when the resin hardens on those rollers, they're done for.
By the way, if you don't have a handy supply store nearby, amazon has a good selection.
^ Ah yes, I missed that you initially mentioned acetone for cleaning brushes and rollers. I've got a big jug of the stuff, although nothing approaching 5 gallon drums.
Prototyping place i work with does SLA printing and Acetone is great for smoothing and breaking down the prints. They have barrels of it and custom pools of it sitting around, i was scared walking around the place lol.
