A Pillar Trim Removal

Getting the "oh s***!" handles off is the toughest part. Each end has a metal spring clip that you have to blindly probe around for with a jeweler's screwdriver. I forget which direction they release. I removed mine permanently and shaved down the mounting clips (they secure the trim) to be less noticeable, since: a) I never use the handles, and b) I don't want to mess with them again.
After that, it's just a matter of popping the plastic clips loose, gently pulling it away from the frame. You have to pull the quarter window trim down slightly to free up the back edge of the a-pillar trim (whose back clip is prone to breaking), if memory serves.
