Default *HELP* Replacing B-pillar trim

I scratched my gloss black exterior B pillar trim while replacing my beltline trim on my 07 IS350.
Does anyone know how they come off? I would like to replace it but I could not find any info by searching. BTW I was replacing the exterior beltline trim because the black "tape" part was mysteriously peeling up on every door.

Sorry I can't help, but how did you remove the beltline trim? My "tape" is peeling up also.

I purchased all four pieces from Sewell as each door was peeling. I also bought plastic trim removal tools from Autozone. I started with the rear doors as they are the easiest. You just insert the pry tool under the edge of the beltline trim at one of the ends and simply pry up enough that you can grab it with your fingers. After you can grab an end with your fingers you pull up and slowly work your way to the other end as you are pulling up. the trim is held on to the door with clips that are retained in the trim piece itself and not on the door. I made the mistake of going to quickly and scratched my B pillar trim by accident as the beltline trim came off abruptly because I applied too much force. For the front doors you want to start at the door handle end because there is an extra horizontal retaining clip above the side mirror, and it easier to remove this end when the other clips are loose. This clip will break so make sure to buy new ones with the new trim, all of the other trim clips will come with and on the new trim pieces. Its not a hard project and only takes about 30 minutes, but TAKE YOUR TIME and make sure you use a pry tool that wont mark your paint. The parts cost me about $250 with the CL discount, so its not cheap, but still less than the stealer.

b pillar trim is held on with double sided tape and 1 clip per trim piece.
