Are you referring to a belly pan....
I have been building templates out for a splitter and bellypan for my SC....but unfortunately my current driveway will not allow for my SC to be as low with a splitter on it...
I believe one SC owner on the forums who tracks his SC has a full splitter/bellypan/diffuser setup

^^ That's the one.
Many years ago some service guy did a 'C' section to get to the filter. I did patch it up by riveting rubber pieces, but it never looked good. Looks like a loose belly underneath.
The aluminum form looks good, but I am not sold on function/durability. It sure is not a skid plate, so I am concerned about durability.

If you DIY the cutout is not needed, but if you go get it serviced then the cut out will make the service easier/quicker.
Check the website. It has description of all the offerings.
