187, INTIMACY, are you guys in NYC? Do you know any great 2JZ turbo mechanics here that could help maintain my NA/T project reasonably close to Manhattan. My car is being built in Ma. but I need someone here for maintenance and tweaks until I understand enough to do it myself. Its TT ECU mod, R154, SAFC and I have a MapECU3 I will need to be installed and tuned at some point. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Also, Vinny Ten in Long Island is a legend in the 2JZ community as well, despite moving on to VQ and VRs lately.

What's with these super low mileage 5-spd SCs with slipping clutches and replaced master/slave cylinders? Are they an abnormally high wear item, is it just a small sample size thing, or are the low mileage cars from elderly drivers being driven poorly from a clutch standpoint?

If most elderly drivers are as cringeworthy with manuals as my father is, I'd say that's a reasonable hypothesis. Every time my dad drives one of my cars I hold my breath because I can feel the clutch life going out the window. It could also just be age taking it's toll on the hydraulics.
