Seat Reupholstering
I want to possibly reupholster my seats but I am unsure which option to go with. The ebay kit seems very tempting but I'm unsure on quality. Where have you guys gone to get your seats reupholstered? I'm in so cal. Got a 2000 with the perforated seats

Find a local estimate. I was quoted $1200 for all the leather in the car,all the seats, door arm rests, center console, steering wheel and auto shifter. I thought that was a pretty good deal. They also offered a ton of customization options if you wanted perforated or diamond stitching etc... I didn't get a quote on that stuff, just basic black leather.

Been seriously considering this myself. Pulling the seats ahead of time and dropping them off with new covers in hand will probably save some labor. And do you really want Lexus leather again? A different leather is (hopefully) thicker and will help with the new-car smell. There will probably be a slight variation in color but who cares? Getting more excited about this prospect actually....

Costco dot com is offering leather seat covers from a vendor. Costco is picky about the products they sell. Not sure if your model/year is offered. But worth a look. I had to recover a Volvo leather driver's seat once, I went to a local upholsterer and chose vinyl. It was a perfect match, comfortable and less money than leather. Good luck
