Crazy idea but...
Before Sewell closed their online shop, I decided to browse the LFA category. Went under engines and long behold the complete V10 engine was there. And with a discount! MSRP was around $80, 000 but with our discount it was around $50,000 Now how crazy would I have been if bought this and mated it to a V160 getrag and dropped it on my SC? I gotta say if could, i would gladly do this in heartbeat. Time to invest in lottery tickets

... assuming that, in order to purchase the LF-A's V10 engine assembly they don't require an original VIN to purchase the long block assembly. It would undoubtedly be missing many other components to make a truly "complete" engine like a JDM engine from a depot.
The V160 would require a lot of work to adapt, and with as fast as that engine revs and as high as it revs even the Getrag might not be a good match for it.
Still... an arbitrary $30K discount on that thing from any place is surprising.

It would probably sound really raspy, since the v10 already starts off with a screeching sound the exhaust simply amplifies it, but our rumbly v8 would probably get the wrong notes amplified and sound like that v8 corolla the guy in California made where he tried making bundle of snakes headers and it sounded pretty awful lol imo.
