Default Front wheel fitment

Hi all, I'm planning out my Christmas list of goodies and recently saw the Varrstoen thread. After looking up and playing with the sizes and offsets I found the wheels I think I want to get. but before I commit I wanted to check and see if a crazy idea I had might work:

I want to try a super wide square fitment wheel setup:

11 inch wide 35 offset with 305 section tires. I figure the rear will work. My question is do you think the front will clear on the inside? If not, what would I be contacting (rubbing on full lock, hitting the control arms, hitting the shock body?) Those who have experience with super wide front wheels with a lot of back spacing please chime in.

and yes I did do some searching but came up with very little information.

Biggest you can run on the front would be a 10 in wheel....and largest tire would be a 285.....

Look up CCW Supra fitment......most run 18x10 with a 285 and 18x11.5 with a 315

Offset is the most important part for running a square setup....the CCW wheels are in the +40-50 offset range.....

If you're saying 40-50 offset I could get away with an 11inch low offset maybe a 15 or 25... Hmm

No way without stretched tires....you would have to really stretch a tire to work with that wide of a wheel with a low offset

IMO.....a 10" wide rim is plenty in back with the right offset you could run a 295 tire on it...offset would need to be minumum +35....

with a 18x10 +25 offset you can run a 275 tire with fenders rolled completely flat...

What if I ran different offsets front to rear? And really massaged the front fenders?

I ran an 18x11 +13 up front with a 245/40/18. I could probably do a 265/35 if I was so inclined. Plently of space and I'm fairly low.

How was the clearance on the back side of the wheel?

^ take his fitment with a grain of salt as his fenders are pulled a good amount and you'd have to do similarly to get that big of a wheel under there (love the look tho obeewon, but miss the red equips on your car )

At this point I'm so dedicated to making this work that I'm looking to either run modified zg flares up front (non rivet, possibly molded in) or get the vertex style front fenders (or maybe both together...)

True good point. Although with the 11J there was a good bit of clearance because I did the pull for a -3 wheel, so the 11J was a bit sunk. But that reminds me that I have camber wishbones up front too.

That is the closest part, I run a bit less caster than stock so I have absolutely no rubbing. I plan on going up a tire size once my fronts are done. I probably have about 20mm of pull on these fenders.
