Tape Player Problem - iPod to Cassette Adapter in '92 sc300
#16
Hey I had that same problem at one point and what I did was take a flat head screw driver (or a coin) and there's 2 big flat head srews on bottom left and bottom right (Don't srew them out). I know for a fact they are adjusters for something, that enables the tape adapter to transmit sound. Turn them and keep inserting it to Cassette player until you find sound from ur Mp3.
Hopefully it this helps you bro.

Vandim540i, thanks for the info. Did you do this to your 99, anything different I should know. Also, I'm guessing music from the ipod comes on once the ipod is turned on which interupts the signal between the radio, amp and cd changer.

Here you go....I simplified the process by just using the signal wires from oem head to amp/cd changer
