Pulling 9 and 3 back and forth will tell you the condition of your tie rod end.
You'll have to use a screw driver or pry bar to put pressure between the ball joint and knuckle to check the ball joint without a load on the suspension.

So I got under my car today because I was tired of the suspension popping. Sure enough the LCA bushings are in very rough shape. I grabbed the wheel at 12 and 6 and pulled back and forth, and there was no give. So I'm thinking the ball joints are okay?
Not a great pic, but you can tell part of the bushing is non existent / torn.
and unfortunately I have rubbing on the top of the front left wheel well :/

The front driver side fender is where my car rubbed the most too. You should relocate the wiring harness in the fender if you haven't already.
